We are using the same route as the last two years but after a safety review, we have decided that runners with buggies cannot be accepted. We are asking each team to notify their runners of this and make arrangements so that runners with young children can still run where possible.
For those who have not done this course before: this is emphatically not a fast route, there are plenty of twists and turns, and like all Harrow parks, Headstone Manor has narrow paths. But, it is a scenic route showing off the wetlands area and the renovated medieval manor house. There are three anti-clockwise laps, the first shorter lap is entirely in the park, the second and third laps go via a neighbouring street. Spectatators can see runners several times, and there is also a cafe in the park open from 10am, as well as the usual picnic provided by the host team.
The 2024 awards take place immediately after the relays, please stay if you were in the top 3 in your age category last year.
